This committee is responsible for the programming of our 8 monthly meetings each year, in addition to any training courses offered. The chapter’s sustainability conference is also under the umbrella of this committee. Technology awards, technical tours and refrigeration activities are coordinated by this group as well.

Tech Tours

Our chapter coordinates tech tours of interesting buildings and interesting HVAC systems as part of our monthly programming. If you have a building system that you are proud of, or know of one that could be visited by students or our regular members, please contact our committee as per above! Locations we have toured recently include:

  • IDEA Building for Dalhousie University

  • IKEA Halifax
  • Propeller Brewery Small Batch System
  • Nova Scotia Power Headquarters
